These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and EAA Prep (eaaprep.hk) ("we", "us"), which runs EAA Prep(the "Service"). By creating an account, buying a pass or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
The Service is an online practice tool for the EAA Salespersons Qualifying Examination (SQE) and Estate Agents Qualifying Examination (EAQE). It offers practice questions, land search and case study questions, timed mock exams, study notes, worked explanations and progress tracking. It is for your own exam preparation only. This is the English edition.
EAA Prep is an independent study service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Estate Agents Authority (EAA) or the examination administrator. 'EAA' is used only to describe the examination. The examinations are set by the Estate Agents Authority (EAA) and administered for it by an appointed examination administrator. We have no access to examination papers.
All questions, explanations and notes are original material written by us to the published syllabus and the law as stated, with dates, in each item. They are not past papers and do not reproduce or paraphrase actual examination questions.
We do not guarantee that you will pass any examination or obtain a licence. Your result depends on your own preparation and performance.
The content is study material. It is not legal, tax, financial or professional advice, and you should not rely on it for any real property transaction. Laws, rates and EAA Practice Circulars change. We date the figures we use, but you are responsible for checking the current law and the current EAA Examination Handbook before your sitting.
You must be at least 18 years old and give accurate details. An account is for one person: do not share your login. Keep your password secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@eaaprep.hk if you think someone else has used it.
Free practice is available without payment. Full access is sold as a one-time pass, priced in Hong Kong dollars:
A pass is a single charge. It does not renew automatically and we do not charge your payment method again. There is no subscription and nothing to cancel. Access starts when your payment is confirmed and ends when the window expires; your dashboard shows the expiry date. If you buy another pass while one is running, the new days are added to the end of your current window.
If you fail the SQE or the EAQE while an Until-you-pass pass is active and send us your result within 30 days of the examination, we extend that pass free of charge, as set out in section 3 of our Refund Policy. An extension adds access time only; it is not a refund and we do not promise any examination result.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Prices may change, but a change applies only to purchases made after it. The price you pay does not include the examination fee, which you pay to the examination administrator when you register for the examination.
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
While your account is in good standing, and for paid content while your pass is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation. You may print the cheat sheet and your own results for personal study.
The questions, explanations, notes, mock exams and site design are our original work and are protected by copyright. We keep all rights not expressly granted to you.
You must not:
We may suspend or close an account that breaks this section, without refund where the breach is serious, such as sharing or scraping content.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, add or remove questions and features, for example to reflect a change in the law. If we find an error in a question we will correct it.
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied terms and warranties, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or opportunity, or the result of any examination.
Our total liability to you for all claims about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Hong Kong law, including under the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71), or affects your rights under the Supply of Services (Implied Terms) Ordinance (Cap. 457) where it applies.
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@eaaprep.hk. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms. Sections 2, 3, 7 (ownership), 10 and 13 continue after your account ends.
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for a material change, tell signed-in users on the site or by email. A change does not affect a pass you have already paid for.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
No person other than you and us has any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of these Terms.
Questions about these Terms: email support@eaaprep.hk or use our feedback form. Our business details are at the top of this page.
