While completing Part B of Form 1 for a flat in Kwun Tong, a salesperson of Harbour Realty Limited finds that one item of prescribed information is not available from the prescribed source. According to the notes to the form, what should she write?
Answer: "Not Available". The notes require all questions and blanks in Part 1 (except Part C) to be completed, with "N/A" where a question is not applicable and "Not Available" where the prescribed information is not available. Why not the others: - "N/A": this means the question does not apply, which is different from information that cannot be obtained. - "Nil": not an entry the form recognises. - "To be confirmed": not an entry the form recognises; the agent must also state the date each item was obtained. Rule: Not applicable = "N/A"; not obtainable = "Not Available"; never leave Part B blank.
